Intermediate level instruction incorporates more class time to discuss more complex and nuanced subjects, but still leave lots of time for practice with an instructor.

Falling can be scary, especially on lead,

so learn some tips on how to manage this fear

Day-long class at Whipps Ledges on

how to set up a natural top rope anchor

Learn how to follow a sport climb and

clean an anchor safely and efficiently

Learn to hang your own quickdraws, build and clean

an anchor, and start lead climbing outdoors

Instruction at the advanced level puts the most responsibility on the student. Be prepared to study or practice skills before and after the class!
